Coronation Street has seen its fair share of drama over the last few months.

From the Toyah and Peter’s illicit love affair to Michelle and Steve’s stillborn heart break, the cobbles have been a rollercoaster of emotions lately.

But does the arrival of Weatherfield’s wild child, Rosie Webster, mean that things are only going to get more dramatic?

Actress Helen Flanagan, who plays Rosie, is back in the soap that launched her career for the first time since 2012.

However, she’s heading back to the cobbles to reprise the role of Rosie – and is she going to be causing as much chaos as she used to?

Even as a teenager, she was a handful – she almost ran away to Berlin with her then-boyfriend, Craig Harris at 15 years old, and who could forget her sordid affair with Fiz Brown’s boyfriend, John Stape?

But will we be seeing a more mature, grown up Rosie?

In these sneak peak pics from ITV, we see Rosie returning in a big, pink furry coat teamed with leopard print heels.

And doesn’t Kevin look happy to see his daughter?

His joy may not last too long, however, as the police are hot on Rosie’s (and sister Sophie’s) heels when she is suspected of drug trafficking upon her return from America.

There’s also rumours that Rosie will have a fling with Corrie’s bad boy, Adam Barlow.

That sounds like an explosive soap coupling if we ever heard one!

Since Helen, 26, left Coronation Street she has launched a singing career, entered I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! and become a mother to a beautiful little girl, Matilda, who she shares with her footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair.

Talking to The Mirror about her return, Helen said: “I’ve matured and I’ve got a little girl, which makes you grow up a lot.

“When I was younger I enjoyed it but didn’t really appreciate what a good job I had … when you go away for a while it can make you really appreciate it.”

Watch Rosie's turn on Monday 6th February, 7.30pm ITV.
