With his seizures intensifying, Oliver Battersby returns to hospital where concerned doctors tell his parents Leanne Battersby and Steve McDonald they think things might be even more serious than they thought.

With potential mitochondrial disease at play, Leanne and Steve try to stay positive but when Nick Tilsley delivers a dose of reality, Leanne is not pleased.

Elsewhere, Gemma Winter is already feeling better after joining a support group for post-natal depression and wants to do something to help other mums in the same position as her.

Ed Bailey finally confronts Bistro manager Don for his racist remarks, and his son Michael vows to do everything he can to stop his daughter, Tianna, growing up in a world where racism exists.
