Alex Neeson was last seen on the Cobbles ten years ago
Michelle Connor hasn't had the easiest year and it looks like there's more drama in store for her when her biological son Alex Neeson returns to Coronation Street.
The last time viewers saw Alex was back in 2008 shortly after Michelle discovered that Ryan, who she had been raising, was not her biological son and Alex (who is her son) were swapped at birth.
During his time in Weatherfield, Alex caused a bit of mayhem; he was caught shoplifting and lost Steve McDonald's daughter Amy. Michelle let him move into the Rovers which caused a lot of trouble in her family and resulted in Ryan moving out.
Michelle had a change of heart after realising she couldn't have both Alex and Ryan in her life and decided that Ryan was her son.

Her best friend Roy is delighted to have her back on the cobbles and immediately suggests she move in with him, but it soon becomes clear the ballsy businesswoman is hiding a big secret that only Roy knows about!
Fans of Corrie haven't seen Alex who now goes by the name Ali since 2008 but according to The Sunday People, Michelle will get the shock of her life when Alex returns to the Cobbles after getting a job in the medical centre but doesn't tell her.
A source told the publication: "Ali settles himself in Weatherfield and seems happy to make friends with everyone else but gives his mum the cold shoulder."
Apparently Alex will have an "ulterior motive" following his return - but what is he up to?
Michelle hasn't had the easiest year; she suffered a devastating miscarriage and then discovered Leanne Battersby had a one night stand with her husband and fell pregnant with Steve's baby.
She then had that horrific stalking ordeal which viewers later discovered was her ex-boyfriend Will Chatterton and only recently discovered her boyfriend Robert Preston has testicular cancer.
