In the recent #CorrieLive episode, viewers watched as Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) picked up a wrench and knocked her ex-boyfriend around the head, seemingly killing him stone cold dead.
But, despite the fact that we all watched Sarah-Louise (Tina O’Brien), David (Jack P Shepherd) and Kylie panic over where to hide the body, there still remains some doubt as to whether or not Callum Logan is REALLY dead.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to air their doubts.
And now Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor in the ITV soap, has waded into the ‘is he or isn’t he?’ debate.
"I know some people were questioning whether Sean Ward's character Callum is really dead as people said they saw him breathe," she wrote in her OK! magazine column.
"That would be a great twist wouldn't it?”
On people’s comments that they saw Sean Ward’s character ‘breathing’ under the sheet, however, she had this to say.
“It was actually a dummy under the duvet anyway!"
However Sean Ward, in his first post-live episode interview, seems to have left it in no doubt that his character is dead and gone forever.
“It’s bitter sweet. I’m going to be gutted to leave Corrie, but at the same time it’s completely right for the character and as an actor that’s the goal, that’s what makes me happy,” he said.
