Coronation Street fans were left gobsmacked when villainous Callum Logan (Sean Ward) was bumped off within the first few minutes of the special #CorrieLive episode.

Not least of all because it was Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) who delivered that fatal blow.

While that deadly swing of the wrench does seem to have brought her and estranged husband David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) closer together than ever, the pair have desperately been trying to cover their tracks.

And it seems VERY unlikely that they’ll be able to keep their secret for long.

Speaking about what’s coming next for her character, Paula told Ok! Magazine: "Kylie’s just in shock.

“I think it’s the most challenging storyline I’ve ever had to play out, I mean you don’t murder somebody everyday, but I’ve had to play it very numb.”

She added: "It’s been quite difficult playing Kylie’s numbness and shock, you won’t see her crack until about 3 weeks time."

But what will cause Kylie to snap under the pressure?

Well, it looks as if it might be a shock visit from Callum’s mum, Marion.

Eep.

Speaking about Marion's sudden visit to the cobbles, Paula explained: "It really gets to Kylie, she’s a mum too, so seeing the worry on Marion’s face really ramps up the guilt for Kylie."

The actress also hinted that her character has another unhappy Christmas ahead of her, suggesting that the repercussions of her actions are going to have a ‘ripple’ effect for the Platts.

And, with rumours that Jack P Shepherd might be leaving the cobbles, it seems as if that could mean that the wrong person could be going down for murder...
