As many Corrie fans will already know, little Hope was recently diagnosed with neuroblastoma, leaving Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) devastated.

And, next week, the little girl’s situation is set to get even worse.

Viewers will watch as Tyrone, desperate to make amends for breaking one of Hope’s toys, leaves the garage to swing by the toy shop.

But, while he’s gone, Hope falls suddenly ill - and, unable to get hold of Tyrone, is forced to head off in an ambulance by herself.

After hearing the news from Kevin, Tyrone rushes to the hospital in a tow truck and, unable to find a parking space, abandons it in front of the hospital entrance.

Fiz explains to Tyrone that Hope has got an infection and has to stay in overnight.

But, as their little girl sleeps, a troubled Tyrone is left horrified to discover the truck has been towed away and it'll cost £300 to get it back from the pound.

Throw in the fact that he hasn’t cancelled the Lapland trip, and it seems as if Tyrone’s financial woes could be set to bring even more heartbreak down upon his family.

Will they still have the Merry Christmas they planned?
