As the 60th anniversary celebrations draw ever closer for Coronation Street, fans have been left wondering who we might be set to lose in the upcoming live episode.

But could the Platt family be in the firing line?

In the coming weeks, David (Jack P. Shepherd), Kylie (Paula Lane) and Sarah Platt (Tina O Brien) will be pushed to the edge by evil drug dealer Callum Logan - even going so far as to kidnap Kylie’s young son, Max.

The drama is said to come to a head in the hour long live episode during ITV’s 60th anniversary week of September 21st.

And, earlier today, on ITV’s This Morning, Corrie fans got their first hint of the high octane drama of the show’s live episode in a thrilling new promo.

Showing Callum chasing the terrified Platts through the street, back tunnel and even through the houses - it seems as if the family are desperately trying to escape ‘the devil’.

But, just as they think they may have shaken him off, David, Kylie and Sarah are forced to come to an abrupt halt…

That’s right; the end of the famous cobbled street has fallen away and been replaced by rock face for a LITERAL cliffhanger.

Meaning that the Platts officially have Nowhere Left To Run!

Wowzer. We guess this means that they have to finally face whatever horrors Callum has in store for them - and we have a feeling it’s going to be intense.
