A grieving David Platt will try to pull off an explosive revenge stunt in Coronation Street next week, as he still reels from the brutal killing of his wife, Kylie Platt.
Upom hearing that Clayton Hibbs may not get the justice he deserves, he decides to take matters into his own hands.
Deciding to drive a car loaded with petrol at Kylie's killer, it seems David’s revenge plot could also include suicide, stopping at nothing to seek revenge. After Gail finds a farewell video recorded by David to his kids, she makes it her sole priority to try and stop her son from killing both Clayton and himself.
Both Gail and Nick take matters into their own hands and plan to keep David prisoner in the Bristo cellar.
Will it be too late? Will David stop at nothing to get his revenge?
Actor Jack P Shepherd, who plays David, teased: "Gail plans to keep him in there for the night until the trial is over and Clayton is safely out of the way, so that there's nothing David can do as it'll be too late. But David's cleverer than Gail.
Jack also added that David will make a bid for freedom out of the cellar and won’t stop until he’s free to carry out his explosive revenge plot.
“Let's just say that he gets the better of Gail and Nick - but it's what happens after he escapes that has huge consequences for many people.”
Uh ohhhh.
Stay tuned, Corrie fans – next week’s episodes will have you gripped to your seats!
We can’t wait!
