Last month the cobbles said farewell to the beloved Kylie Platt after she was stabbed by thug Clayton Hibbs.

Just when David Platt and Kylie were heading to Barbados to live happily ever after, Kylie died before they could leave Corrie behind.

We were devastated that Kylie didn't get her happily ever after, viewers had mixed reactions to her funeral, and ever since her death David has been trying to find his wife's murderer.

Viewers will soon see David is close to finding Clayton - but it's not without consequences.

Jack P Shephard – who plays David – spoke to heat magazine about David's future: "For now, grief and desire for revenge, but in the long term it will be interesting to see what sort of person he will become."

He added: "Now he [David] doesn't have Kylie to rein him in, he's on the warpath. Everything was going great and now he wants someone to pay."

We'll see David on the warpath after he visits a pub – The Dog and Gun – where Clayton and his thuggish friend Macca regularly hang out. But during his visit, the widower gets beaten up by an older man.

We previously saw Callum Logan visit the dodgy pub where David's brutal attack takes place in a car park.

Will David find Clayton at this rough and ready pub?

What do you think will happen if David meets his wife's killer?
