Coronation Street’s Erica (Claire King) recently left her ex boyfriend Nick Tilsey stunned when she returned to Weatherfield and told him that she was pregnant with his baby.

It meant that his and Carla Connor’s relationship was forced to come to an end before it even had a chance to get started, as Gail’s son vowed to stand by Erica and his unborn child.
However emotional scenes will see Erica begin suffering from terrible stomach pains during a quiz night at the Rovers.
Viewers will watch as she is rushed into hospital - and see her come to terms with the devastating news that she has lost her baby.
A source told The Sun: “Erica’s pregnancy was a shock for viewers but her miscarriage will be even more of a shock.
“This was initially seen as a chance for ‘Corrie’ to explore the issue of older women coping with pregnancy.
“Nobody expected it to end this way.”
They added: “It’s one of a series of heartbreaking storylines lined up in the coming months.”
