It’s official; we’re speeding towards a VERY big week in Coronation Street.
And it seems as if the scenes have been deemed unsuitable for a pre-watershed slot; what does this mean, eh?
Well, according to the official Corrie website, the big week will see Carla’s exit and Callum’s body taking centerstage.
They say: “Carla is heading towards her wedding to Nick, while desperately trying to stop Tracy from spilling the beans about her ill-judged one night stand with Robert.
“And over at number 8 the Platt family are still hiding the grisly secret of Callum's body being buried under the floor of Gail’s granny flat.
“Now their past actions look set to catch up with them all as Callum’s corpse is finally unearthed and Tracy does her best to ruin Carla’s dream wedding.”
That sounds like a recipe for some serious drama, doesn’t it?
Speaking about the upcoming scenes with OK! Magazine at the Bafta TV Awards, Ben Price - who plays Nick - teased what fans can expect from his character’s wedding to Carla.
He said: “For a wedding it’s full on. There’s a lot of twists and turns. It’s going to be a huge week.
"There’s a lot of heartache, a lot of screaming and a lot of tears.”
We can’t wait!
The big week kicks off on Sunday May 22 and will be on every night after that, ending on Thursday 26 May.
Which means we have FIVE WHOLE DAYS of Corrie to sink our teeth into.
Even more intriguing? Corrie is moving the episodes for The Week Of Secrets to 9pm.
We wonder if this has anything to do with the rumours that things are going to get violent between Nick and Carla?
Alison King previously told Soaplife: "The wedding is going to be quite understated - it is her fourth time so it is more low key.
"I am thrilled it is going to be at the Bistro so we don't have to be on location for days!
“But whilst the wedding might be understated and low key, the drama definitely won't be!”
Ben Price has now teased how his character will react to Carla’s affair - and it seems as if the stress of the revelation will trigger his brain injury.
Teasing Nick's extreme reaction as a result of his brain injury, actor Ben Price told The Metro: "He gets stressed and stress brings it on.
"Then you have the merger of what Carla’s done – you know, sleeping with the chef and all the stuff with the Bistro.
"Nick’s going to get all that. Plus the brain injury – oh god, the poor guy’s going to be in a mess!"
He added: “The brain injury gives him that side that you can’t lock away.
“He’s always on the edge – a bit like the Hulk.”
Does this mean that Nick will get violent with the woman he loves?
Well, Ben wouldn’t share too many details.
However, the actor, whose character sold the Bistro to Robert as a result of Tracy Barlow's blackmailing, added: "Yeah, so I don’t think it’s going to be happy for him for a while.
"He’ll just be in a dark room for quite a while…"
Hmm. A dark room like, say, a prison cell?
After all, we know that Alison King is set to leave the soap permanently this year.
Could the events at her wedding be the driving force behind her departure?
Well, while Alison herself has no idea what the circumstances will be surrounding her character’s exit from the show, a spokesperson has claimed that she will NOT be killed off.
They said: "We wish Alison all the best with what she goes on to in the future.
“The door will be left open for a possible return for Carla.”
However there are rumours that they have simply said this in a bid to keep her death a surprise to viewers.
Eep!
REMEMBER: There will be no episode on Friday 27 May, due to football.
