The feisty mum goes head to head with her nemesis but will her tactics backfire horribly?....
Anna is a braver woman than us when she tries to extract a confession from her bitter enemy Phelan!
But first, next week kicks off with the killer Scouser stunning everyone with his amazing generosity. Yes really!
Having recently bumped off his former partner in crime, Vinny, and taken all his cash, Phelan is now a very rich man.
Eileen is delighted when her hubby tells her that he’s received the insurance money for the house that was recently burned down….yep, the same house Phelan reduced to a pile of ashes to cover his killer escapades. Who knew insurance companies were so easy to convince!
His wife, who has no idea just what evil deeds her murdering hubby has been embroiled in, has pound signs in her eyes and can’t wait to get spending.
However she’s in for a shock when the scheming builder plays a blinding Mr Nice Guy and announces he’s using the money to pay back all their friends and neighbours who lost out on the Calcutta Flat scam and will be handing each and everyone a generous £5K! Get in the queue Sarah, Yasmeen and co!
Not only that but he’s giving vicar Billy a large sum to pop in the church fund. Could this guy be any more generous?
Not surprisingly Eileen is a touch miffed but while everyone is singing Phelan’s praises there is one person who is immediately suspicious: Anna.
She’s convinced Phelan is once again up to no good and is certain the conniving builder has an ulterior motive. You’re not wrong there love.
Phelan has already tried to frame the poor café-worker for pushing Seb off the ladder, forced her to sleep with him for cash and held his evil sway over her for years but enough’s enough…it’s time for Anna to fight back and get proof of just what an evil scumbag he is.
She decides one way or another she’s going to expose his true colours and knows his weak point is his daughter Nicola who has recently packed her bags.
Anna manages to lure Phelan round to her house under the pretence of wanting to discuss Nicola who is pregnant with Gary’s child. However as the conversation turns to Seb, Anna secretly presses record on her mobile phone, desperate to extract a confession from Phelan that it was him who pushed the young lad from the ladder.
Will Phelan smell a rat rumble what she’s doing and if so, has Anna just placed herself in even more dangerous territory with the ruthless builder?
As Anna and Phelan go head to head we know who our money’s on…..and sadly it’s not the one usually found serving bacon butties in Roys Rolls. Oh Anna, what have you done!
