Is the truth about to come out in Coronation Street when David hears some shocking news about Clayton?

We all got a bit of a shock last month when it was revealed that mysterious Street new comer Shona is actually the mum of Clayton Hibbs - better known as The One That Murdered Kylie Platt. At the moment, the only person who knows this (apart from the 5 million viewers, of course) is David Platt's mum, Gail. Shona confessed the truth to her after overhearing that David was responsible for the car crash that left Anna Windass with life-changing injuries.

It looks like Shona is bracing herself to tell David the truth about her identity next week. The pair find themselves working together on a charity Bring and Buy but then David receives some shocking news.

He finds out that Clayton has been taken to hospital after a nasty fight in prison. Clayton is so badly injured that he might not pull through and grieving David heads off to the Rovers to celebrate.

Later, Shona finds a drunken David sat on the ground where Kylie was stabbed. She's tempted to reveal who she really is to David, but how will he handle that bombshell??
