It’s official; Coronation Street is going post-watershed for the hotly anticipated Fire Week episodes.

Yup, final schedules released today have confirmed that one epode of Corrie will air at 9pm each night between the 25th May and the 29th May.

During these episodes, viewers will watch in horror as Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) concocts a plan of revenge against those who she feels has wronged her.

But, while she sets out to break the heart of Liz McDonald - and quite possibly ruin Steve McDonald and Michelle Connor’s wedding in the process - it’s her scheming against Carla that will have the most shocking consequences.

And it seems as if her plan for revenge will have shocking consequences for everyone on the cobbles, as a shock blaze will wind up ripping through the Victoria Court flats.

A Coronation Street spokesperson teased: "Tracy's revenge on Carla will fuel an explosive week on the ITV soap which will culminate in a massive fire at Victoria Court. But will the fire be part of Tracy's plan, or will her vengeance take on a mind of its own?

"The details of this must see week of drama are being kept under wraps - with lots of twists, turns and surprises for fans promised."

However, now that soap bosses have confirmed that Alison King will be leaving the soap, many have speculated that she will be killed in the blaze.

All of the post-watershed Corrie episodes remain suitable for a family audience, as the shift to 9pm is purely a scheduling decision rather than due to the storyline's content.
