Kym Marsh has revealed that her Coronation Street character, Michelle Connor, will not be getting back together with Steve MacDonald
It was one of the most inevitable break-ups in Coronation Street history, but fans were still upset to see the parting of the ways between Steve MacDonald and Michelle Connor.
After Steve accidentally got Michelle's friend Leanne pregnant, and Michelle suffered a devastating late miscarriage, it was only a matter of time before everything blew up in Steve's face and Michelle FINALLY left him after years of irksome behaviour.
And whilst some people may have willed them back together in the hope that they wouldn't throw away their marriage, we can reveal that that is NOT going to be the case.
Actress Kym Marsh herself revealed that was that for the couple, saying: "She is over Steve now, she still can't forgive him for what he did and she just wants to move forward.
"I think that ship has sailed for Michelle and Steve for the time being."

Kym, who has played Michelle in Corrie for 11 years now, added that the end of their relationship may be a "reason why she isn't going to give up on her and Robert," whose dodgy drug past has recently come to the fore.
A lot of people may be tempted to cut and run after finding out about Robert's shady dealings, but Kym confessed that Michelle is deeply in love with him and won't be going anywhere.
She said: "Leaving Robert is the last thing on her mind. She is determined they will deal with this together.
"Michelle loves him and he was there for her when she needed him most, so she is not going to give up in him when he needs her."
That as may be, Kym did allude to the fact that the worst was yet to come for poor Michelle.
She said: "Looking at it from the outside, is Robert just going to cause her more heartache and grief? Knowing what I do about Robert I would tell her to be very careful.
"However, you can also see that she does care about him and he has helped her through a terrible time. Some men would have run a mile but he was a true gentleman and there aren't many of them in Weatherfield!
"I think things are going to get a lot worse for Michelle, we've filmed some pretty dramatic stuff in the past few weeks so watch this space."
