Former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote will apparently be axed from the show two years after leaving in an off-screen death - despite being told she was welcome to return.
Georgia, 26, left the show in 2015 after playing Katy Armstrong for five years, being runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing that year with her then-boyfriend Giovanni Pernice.
On-screen, we last saw Katy moving to Portugal in the soap with her and Chesney Brown's son Joseph.

Georgia left the show to explore other opportunities after acting in the show for five years, but was assured by show bosses that the door was always open to come back and reprise her role.
However, they've since changed their minds - and have decided to kill Katy off.
But they won't be bringing Georgia back to act out a death; she'll be killed off-screen in a car accident in Portugal.
Eek.
A source told The Sun: "As Katy, Georgia was really popular with Corrie fans and had some big storylines. But bosses have clearly decided that she has no future in the soap, and have ruled out a return by killing her off.
"You might have thought they would show such a well-known character being written out on screen but that wasn't to be."
Blimey, what a mess!
Apparently, Chesney will be left devastated by the news and will try and rush off to Portugal.
At the time of her exit, Georgia said: "I have had an amazing four years on Coronation Street; I have had some fantastic storylines and worked with some wonderful actors.
"I am very excited about what the future holds. While I will be sorry to say goodbye to Weatherfield I am looking forward to the challenge of new roles. Having worked on other dramas such as Grange Hill and This Is England before I joined the cast I always knew that I would want to try other roles again in the future.
"I am hugely grateful for the opportunities Coronation Street has given me and I am very excited about my exit storyline."
Show bosses said at the time: "The decision to write out the character of Katy Armstrong is based on storyline discussions and will be one of the consequences of the current drama involving the Windass/Armstrong clan.
"Katy will not be killed off and the door will be left open for a possible return. We wish Georgia every success with her future career."
Looks like they've done a big ole u-turn on that decision...
