As Corrie fans are all aware, Carla (Alison King) cheated on Nick (Ben Price) over the Christmas period.
Yup, the brunette beauty had an ill-advised one-night stand with Robert Preston - and, to make matters even worse, her arch-nemesis Tracy (Kate Ford) knows ALL about it.
So far, Tracy hasn’t told Nick about Carla’s infidelity, but that’s only because she’s been able to use the information as blackmail.
And, in Weatherfield, no secret stays that way for long.
We’ve watched as Tracy has, time and time again, pushed Carla as close to breaking point as she dares.
But, on Monday 28th March, it seems as if Carla will finally snap.
The drama all kicks off when Tracy gets into a row with her ex (and Carla’s one night stand) Robert.
Emotional and angry, she decides to take things out on those around her, and angrily asks Nick how he can contemplate marrying “an alcoholic, cheating old witch”.
Yikes!
Unsurprisingly, Carla finally loses her temper and furiously slaps Tracy round the face.
Left with a smarting cheek, a red-faced Tracy is taken aback by Carla’s violent outburst - and not exactly impressed, either.
Will it prompt her to tell Nick about Robert and his fiancé’s one-night stand after all?
If she does decide to spill the beans, we imagine she’ll wait until the prime moment so that she can cause maximum upset and upheaval.
So what better day to reveal Carla’s infidelity then, say, on her wedding day?
Previously discussing her character's big day, Alison told Soaplife: "The wedding is going to be quite understated - it is her fourth time so it is more low key.
"I am thrilled it is going to be at the Bistro so we don't have to be on location for days!
“But whilst the wedding might be understated and low key, the drama definitely won't be!”
She added: "There is this one big secret and if Tracy blows it then it could be the end of this life that Carla wants with Nick.
“If Carla had told Nick straight away then maybe she would not be in this position now and they could have moved on from it, but as time goes on it gets more difficult to come clean which means that Tracy holds all the cards and she knows that."
