Closer’s CBB columnist Nicola McLean: ‘Looking is nothing like rape – it was wrong of Nadia to liken the two’

So we already knew Ken Morley had been removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house for using unacceptable and offensive language, and in last night’s show we saw the drama unfold…

First of all I think the racist language Ken used, and has used previously, is unacceptable and there is no excuse.

When he used racist language again, he absolutely had to go. I also believe some housemates, especially Nadia and Perez, were almost winding him up to get him to say more sexist things that would lead to his removal from the house.

I love Nadia, but is it only me that's started to now see her not as the peace maker but as someone who is unconsciously controlling and in fact makes situations worse?

Do you think Nadia is controlling situations in the house?
Do you think Nadia is controlling situations in the house?

I mean, it was bloody ridiculous when Ken said he liked looking at the girl’s bums she flew off the handle and likened his words to rape. She suggested that Big Brother call the police before telling her housemates, ‘He’s basically saying it's OK to rape some women if they have short skirts on and a low top’.

Thats offensive in my opinion: looking is nothing like rape and it's very extreme to liken the two in the confines of the CBB house. Nadia, come on –you're getting lost in the moment!

As a viewer I wasn't sure where all of this 'looking at arses' talk was coming from with Ken, as we haven't seen anyone showing off their bum or seen him actually looking at anyone.

Do you agree with Alexander about Chloe changing in the bedroom?

But, from Alexander's fatherly advice, it transpires that Chloe has been getting dressed in the bedroom, instead of in private. He was so kind when he called her over and told her in his opinion she should stop getting changed in front of everyone and, if she is getting changed in front of the men, then of course they are going to look.

Her body is amazing and I would look too! I loved how Alexander said that she is like a daughter to him and he would never look at her in that way. What a lovely man!

My least favourite housemate is for sure Perez. I felt so angry at his treatment of Patsy, over a conversation with Alexander about her love of rap music (Who would have thought Patsy Kensit loves hip hop?)

Nicola thinks Perez needs to stop causing drama

Perez left Patsy in floods of tears after she said she would love Alexander to take her to Crenshaw in Los Angeles because that's where Snoop Dog is from – Perez then told her that she was racist!

He is a tw*t, I was shouting at my TV! An obviously upset Patsy then went to speak to Big Brother. She described it as her 'worst nightmare' and told Big Brother that 'it would really break my heart' if people took her comments to be racist.

I really felt for her and was so glad Alexander was there to hug it out: he is a proper, caring gentleman.

Perez is just causing drama. If he isn't judging others on their alcohol in take he is calling them racist. Big brother is meant to be fun but so far, while it’s been full of drama, there hasn’t been much fun.

Because of the drama from some, we are missing out on other housemates like Calum

Come on Big Bro: sort this lot out they are so uptight…

And because of the dramatic few we are not talking about the likes of Katie who is actually coming across fab, and Calum Best who touched me (not literally… Before Nadia calls for his removal) while talking about his late dad.

It's a shame to hear his dad didn't take the time to teach him any of his famous football skills but Patsy and Michelle showed Perez the correct way of asking sensitive questions.

I'm still liking Alicia, she doesn't seem to get what's going on and let's it all go over her head. It's quite sweet really. I want more from Cami Li, I want her to go cray! Hopefully the nasty drama is over and things will become a bit more light hearted!

We have a treat tonight: a live twist and I can't wait… X
