Closer’s CBB columnist Nicola McLean: ‘I was impressed with Katie P – it’s nice to see her softer side’

After hearing from Perez Hilton that Katie Hopkins had been saying things behind her back, the Pricey was not happy. I was very impressed that she bided her time and waited until they were forced to do face to face nominations.

When nominating Katie Hopkins, Katie Price didn't hold back, it pulled on my heart strings when she said it was hard to hear Katie H slagging her off as she was in the house to make friends.

She seemed sad as she said that she has been let down so many times before, she spoke honestly and from the heart and whilst shaking she told Katie H exactly what had hurt her.

It was nice to see this side of Pricey: I think we've seen a much more grown up Katie Price. It's proved she's no longer her 'Jordan' alter ego.

One thing that shocked me about Katie Price is that she keeps nominating Calum. Unless he's doing something in the house to annoy her which is very doubtful…

Do us viewers not know everything that's gone on between them before, or has Katie P identified him as a front runner and is looking to eliminate the competition?

The rest of the face to face nominations were not a surprise. I feel like Keith is very fragile, and whilst the rest of the nation felt sad when he cried in the diary room, I just thought that he needs to get a grip.

Now don't get me wrong, I love Cheggers, but why does he care so much what these people think? He has a wife outside of the house who loves him and that he clearly loves and that is all that matters – not what anyone else thinks of him. He needs to remember this is only Big Brother.

Have we missed something between Michelle Visage and Katie Hopkins? I thought these two were bosom buddies, but watching the conversation between Michelle and Katie Price you’d think differently.

Pricey opened up about her true feelings towards Hopkins and Michelle said she felt like a proud mum watching Katie P be outspoken and stand up for herself.

In all honestly I feel Michelle is just a massive 'Jordan' fan and would have sided with her regardless.

So the previous day we had seen Nadia behave dreadfully towards Calum as she naively believed every word that Perez had fed her regarding Calum's comments on her cooking.

However, she awoke the next day suggesting that everyone started afresh. I thought that after sleeping on it, she had probably regretted her outburst towards Calum.

When Perez immediately started trying to slag off Katie H, Nadia actually stood up to him and told him they were having a peaceful day and it shocked me that he instantly backed down.

Perez claimed he was saying ‘Katie is so funny’, but he clearly started off by b*tching. It seems to me that maybe Nadia has some power over Perez and he doesn't want to upset his only friend in the house, so quickly changed his tune to keep her happy.

Anyway, Nadia went on to nominate Calum and said it was because of the 'food' conversation but I just think she has also noticed how popular he is and is trying to vote of the strongest housemate!

So today Katie H is suppose to be dressing Perez in her choice of outfit and vice versa… I can't wait to see how that pans out!

A special mention has to go to Perez for his fall in the garden, as he was running around like a toddler for the 'Perez Show’.

I actually did a proper LOL as he hit the ground and then limped away trying to cover his embarrassment! It's always fun when someone falls over in the CBB house!

Finally… Can anyone tell me why Cami Li always wears that knitted scarf? I mean, even when she's wearing a bikini or her teeny PJ's she's still wearing the scarf. Is it a comfort thing or is it a message to someone on the outside… or does she just have a cold neck?!"
