Chelsee has been a cast member on the popular teen soap since last year, appearing in November 2016 as a guest before becoming a fully fledged character in January this year. However, fans haven’t seen her character Goldie since May, as Chelsee took time off for her maternity leave.
And while she is enjoying her time off to focus on her daughter, Coco, who was born in July, she told the Mirror that she is keen to get back to work.
Speaking to the publication, she said: “I am coming back to Hollyoaks – I’m coming back for two episodes the end of this month, and then full-time in January, so they’re easing me back in.
“I keep messaging my agent to find out scripts, but I’m hoping Goldie can come back with dark hair, because I can’t be arsed with that red f***ing wig!”
When discussing life as a new mum, Chelsee explained to Mirror TV: "[Coco] is really coming into her own now, which is amazing. I don’t want her to grow up.
“I want her to stay as a baby but she’s honestly unbelievable. I never imagined the feeling she’d give me. She’s made me very content.
“I never wanted any [children] but now I’ve got Coco, I want another!”
