If you’re anything like us, you’re a quiet addict of ITV’s The Chase - and you’ve dreamed about coming face-to-face with The Beast and giving him a piece of your mind.
Well, for Natalie Cassidy, those dreams are now a REALITY!
The pregnant actress - who plays EastEnders’s Sonia Fowler - appeared on The Chase yesterday for a special edition of the hit gameshow.
And she soon found herself faced with a VERY tricky question indeed: “Who was the last foreign-born American Secretary of State?"
Despite the trickiness, Natalie was quick to press her buzzer and answer with option B - Madeleine Albright.
Bradley Walsh commented on her speed, forcing her to admit it was nothing more than a guess - something which seemed to be a big mistake when it was revealed that The Beast (Mark Labbett) had selected option c - Colin Powell.
However it turned out that Natalie was correct, leaving both Bradley and The Beast stunned.
"I honestly thought I knew that one…" he began, only for Natalie to cut him off.
“Well, you didn’t, did you?”
And things only got more awkward from there…
Watch the moment for yourself below:
"He looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp with that face. Look, he's really upset,” she teased, whilst The Beast squirmed in his seat.
As the audience - and Bradley, bless him - erupted into giggles, The Beast didn’t say a single word.
Instead, he concentrated on rearranging his face into a smile (or grimace, to be more apt), and waited patiently for the next question.
We think Natalie definitely deserves ALL the sass points for that one - we guess growing up in Albert Square will arm anyone with a useful array of comebacks and insults, eh?
