During the first episode of Celebrity Masterchef, which aired last night on BBC One, Sinitta served up several dishes to judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode, which the pair refused to eat.
The So Macho singer served up two raw meat dishes and an uncooked aubergine, which Gregg described as “terrifying”.
Refusing to eat part of the meal to avoid salmonella or any other deadly bugs present in uncooked meats, Sinitta then prepared a pastry dish and a cod soup – where she left the fish skin on.
“That’s raw meat! I don’t know what to say as the meat and the pastry are raw and it’s a meat and pastry dish. Not good, I’m afraid,” Gregg told Sinitta.
However, Simon Cowell’s ex-girlfriend believes she is in fact, a great cook.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I’m doing some very creative and visually stunning dishes. I’ve made a very ugly squid look beautiful.
“And I served brilliantly, I think, in a real restaurant kitchen. I was quite nervous. I didn’t want to go too far and ruin my dishes.”
She also explained how she regularly cooks for Simon, but claims he is a “fussy eater”.
Despite this however, Sinitta was sadly the first to leave the show.
Many took to Twitter to ask why Sinitta bothered to go on the cooking show when she “can’t cook”.
However, Sinitta replied that she went “to learn” – which is actually a fair enough reason, don’t you think?
The first four weeks of Masterchef will be made up of heats, before the celebrities are whittled down for the finals.
And the 52 year old recently revealed that she has pleaded with Simon to be an X Factor judge, and said that Nicole Scherzinger is too nice and is “embarrassed trying to say no to people”.
Could we be seeing Sinitta back on our screens later this year for another X Factor appearance?
Celebrity Masterchef continues Friday 24 June at 8:30pm on BBC One.
