The Celebrity Big Brother 2015 compound was transformed into a Royal Palace when Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, entered the house.

And he appeared to have a revolt on his hands almost immediately.

Why?

Well, Paul’s arrival marks the beginning of a new task - which sees the American housemates bow and scrape to the every whim of the UK celebs, who have been transformed into the Royal family.

Scoop will be fulfilling the role of the butler, Jenna will be housekeeper Austin will be the house footman, and Daniel and Janice will be the cooks.

However Paul sparked upset when he chose Farrah to be a housemaid, saying he thought she'd "enjoy the little outfit Big Brother has chosen" for her to wear.

He later insisted that the comment was intended to be a compliment, not a sexist remark.

It wasn’t just housemates who were unhappy with Paul’s arrival, either; fans of the show were furious that he had been allowed in just one day after the 18th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.

However, despite the overwhelmingly negative reaction from fans and housemates alike, Paul has insisted that he will not let anyone intimidate him.

He said: "I have met some of the world’s most important people - Kings and Queens, Presidents and First Ladies, movie stars and The Pope.

"I wasn’t intimidated by them, so I won’t be intimidated by the people in the Big Brother House."

We can’t wait to watch the drama unfold tonight!
