The 61-year-old former coach broke down during a conversation with Benefits Street star Dee Kelly, 43, telling her she feels ‘lost’.

Kellie said: “I’m a wreck. I’m tired. I’m lost. I’m weak and vulnerable. I feel lost at the moment. I feel like I’m about to explode.”

Straight talking Dee told Kellie her emotions were all part of her transformation, adding: “It’s called being a woman.”

An emotional Kellie then admitted: “Then I would like to change back.” This led to a conversation between the pair about her becoming Frank again, but Dee told her to think carefully before making any decisions.

Dee said: “Now you’d make such a s*** Frank Maloney. He was a f***ing arse. You’re not Frank now. Be Kellie. You’ve hidden her for so many years.”

A show insider told the Daily Star that, following her meltdown, Kellie is being observed by the producers. They said: “She is being carefully monitored. She is upset and we are being very sensitive about her feelings.”

Speaking on their first night in the house, Kellie told Dee that she nearly changed her mind, admitting that she’d wanted to transition in private.

But Dee told her to look at it in a positive way, telling her: “We’re just normal people, this is the thing that’s going to put you on the map as Kellie. This is your new start.”
