The shortlist for The British Soap Awards 2017 has officially been revealed
The shortlist for the 2017 British Soap Awards has officially been unveiled and Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks are leading the way. The three soaps have 14 nominations each, with fellow soap heavyweight EastEnders trailing behind with just 12. Soap underdogs Doctors put in a good show with 10 nominations for the BBC One daytime show.
The Awards take place on June 3 and will be broadcast live for the very first time in its 19 year history. As usual, Phillip Schofield will host the bash, this year from The Lowry Theatre in Manchester.
