ITV have moved the Britain's Got Talent final so that they don't clash with Ariana Grande's Manchester tribute concert

After last Monday's atrocities in Manchester, Ariana Grande flew home to recuperate from the traumatic ordeal.

As the explosion took place at her concert, she has been hugely shaken by the terrible events that took place.

But not only has she apparently offered to pay for the funerals of the victims, she has also organised a tribute concert in Manchester to raise money for the families of those who lost their lives.

No-one would have judged the 23-year-old for staying away from the northern British city for a while, but her determination to do the right thing by her fans will see her perform there just under two weeks after the attack took place on Monday 22 May.

The concert, named One Love, will be at the Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester on Sunday 4 June. It will be shown on BBC One starting at 6.55pm until 10pm.

The line-up has now been confirmed - Ariana will head up Take That, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Pharrell and Usher.

But many eagle-eyed fans will notice that the climax of ITV's talent show Britain's Got Talent is normally shown on a Sunday at that time - with this Sunday set to be the final.

But ITV bosses have generously moved the final show to Saturday, to avoid clashing and to be respectful.

A spokesperson said: "Ariana Grande's 'One Love Manchester' benefit concert is bringing artists and the public together, and will raise funds for the Red Cross's Manchester Emergency Fund.

"ITV and Britain's Got Talent have no desire to distract from this important cause, so we have taken the decision to move the Britain's Got Talent Final from Sunday night."

Ariana stayed away from social media in the week following the attack, but returned just five days later on Friday 26 May to announce the concert.

In a heartfelt statement, she wrote a beautiful ode to her fans: "My heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the Manchester Attack and their loved ones.

"There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better. However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way.

"The only thing we can do now is choose how we let this affect us and how we live our lives from here on out. I have been thinking of my fans, and of you all, non stop over the past week. The way you have handled all of this has been more inspiring and made me more proud than you’ll ever know."
