Wayne Woodward has reportedly been rushed to hospital after collapsing backstage at the Britain’s got Talent studio.

The singer – who wowed the judges and the audience with his performance of the Frank Sinatra’s The Way You Look Tonight - is said the have fallen ill backstage after his performance on Monday night’s show.

Onlookers saw two ambulances pull up to the Wembley studios, and a source told the Mirror Online:

"Wayne fainted after the show last night and was seen by a medic on site.

"He was then taken to hospital as a precaution and is now resting at home."

Although no more details on the incident are known at present, pictures show the 20-year-old accompanying a paramedic away from the London site.

His family were seen following the pair shortly after.

The collapse comes after the Essex lad secured his place in the BGT final with a performance of That’s Life by Frank Sinatra.

Neither his nor the official BGT Twitter page have made reference to the incident at present, although if Wayne's latest post is anythig to go by, we think he's more than ready for the BGT finals...

We hope you're feeling better, Wayne!
