Last night Zyrah Rose performed Adele’s Set Fire To The Rain, and were mostly praised by the judging panel.
Surprisingly, after Simon Cowell compared the group to “Caviar” when he believes the public want to see “Spaghetti Bolognese”, this wasn’t the comment that viewers found inappropriate.
Simon criticised the group saying: “I personally think that there is a slight image issue with you which is making you look a little bit untouchable.”
Before the camera panned back to the presenting duo, and Dec Donnelly added: “They don’t look untouchable to me – in fact they look very touchable to me.”
The comment kicked up a storm on Twitter and fans were left shocked and “creeped out” by Dec’s joke.
While many raged at the "vile" nature of the joke, however, some defended Dec for his "innocent banter".
And his inappropriate comment wasn't the only thing to spark anger in BGT fans.
In last night's episode, we saw Simon’s Golden Buzzer act Boogie Storm go through to the finals, causing many to claim the show is fixed.
Magician Richard Jones went straight through to the final from the public vote, after impressing viewers with his “real” magic, as Simon termed it.
And the judges were faced with a decision between Boogie Storm – the dancing Storm Troopers – and Jack Higgins – the 14 year old ballet dancer.
Despite both being praised by all four judges throughout the series, there was a split decision as Simon and Amanda Holden voted for Boogie Storm whilst David Walliams and Alesha Dixon voted for Jack.
Taking it to the public vote, the dance troupe won and were given a place in the finals.
However, fans of the talent show were not impressed.
It would come as no surprise to viewers though as Simon admitted on the night: “I have literally waited all my life to see this ... this is what we're looking for, this is what the royal family want."
