In the live semi-finals show on Thursday 26th May, band Vox Fortura performed their rendition of David Bowie’s Heroes, and wowed the audiences and judges.
During the after-performance critique, judge Alesha Dixon said: “Four sexy chocolate men, with amazing voices, polished to perfection, that was sensational well done.”
Clearly Alesha was complimenting the band, but many viewers took to Twitter to complain about her ‘inappropriate’ use of words.
And fans of the show are now calling for ITV to sack the Misteeq singer, insisting that her 'racist' attitude is inappropriate for the family show.
A lot of viewers were also quick to take to Twitter about Alesha’s outfit choice.
One said: “Alesha Dixon has come dressed as a liquorice allsort tonight”.
While another added: “What is Alesha Dixon wearing!? One big zip!”.
And it has now been revealed that the 37 year old has been banned from performing her latest single on the Britain’s Got Talent stage.
However, a source has told The Sun that Alesha isn’t going to kick up a storm as she doesn’t want to put her career at risk.
The source said: “Alesha is disappointed to miss out but appreciates she can’t complain too loudly.
“She knows how fortunate she is being on a show of BGT’s size so would never want to put that at risk.
“Alesha just knows how powerful big TV appearances can be for chart positions.
After being given a no from Simon Cowell to perform her single Stop on Britian’s Got Talent, Alesha will now be performing at a series of low-profile gigs instead.
