Emmerdale fans were devastated to hear that Adam Thomas, who played the role of Adam Barton for eight years, had decided to say farewell to the village.
The actor is expecting his second child with his wife, Caroline Daly, and recently revealed his unborn baby's gender in a cute Instagram post.
The I'm A Celebrity star has been involved in some great storylines during his time in the ITV soap, including Adam's recent decision to take the rap for Emma Barton's murderer - even though it was actually Moira Dingle.
But in a candid Twitter exchange with his followers, Adam decided to be as open and honest as possible when replying to his fans about their thoughts on his final episodes.
One fan wrote: "Can I just say how gutted I am that even in your last week, Emmerdale aren't giving you the air time you deserve. You are an extremely talented actor and I wish you all the best for the future."
The cheeky actor replied, telling the user: "I'm used to it... but thanks anyway... just to be part of that show is good enough for me."
And he didn't stop there. After joking that he didn't get enough air time, Adam also went on to reveal his favourite part of the show - but it's not what you think...
Another fan tweeted: "Gutted you have left Emmerdale! Going to miss you! And miss your scenes with @DannyBMiller. What has been your favourite thing about Emmerdale?"

It might all be said in jest, though, considering that Adam recently tweeted about how much he wants to go back to the show, saying: "Dear @emmerdale I know it's only been a few weeks but am ready to come bk now even if I am a ghost... it's been done before."
See? You can't fool us - we know you miss it really, Adam...
