Cast your mind back to 2015 and you may well recall it was when Love Island first stormed onto our telly screens making icons out of Jess Hayes and Jon Clark.
In the words of Iain Stirling: "BRING ON THE JONATHAN."
The dating show is now a staple in the world of reality TV and it all started that fateful summer eight years ago; Jess Hayes and Max Morley walked so Tommy Fury and Molly Mae could run. These are facts.
Side note, does anyone else remember Jon dropping down to one knee and PROPOSING to Hannah Elizabeth on the season finale, or did we imagine that?
What a time to be alive.
Although some of the Love Island 2015 stars, such as Joshua Ritchie and Cally Jane Beech, went on have mild success, other Islanders were here one minute and gone the next.
One such person was Omar Sultani.
The season one OG was part of the first series of Love Island (the non celeb version ofc, we haven't forgot about the days of Jayne Middlemiss and Calum Best, don't you worry) and was there from day one. He coupled up with Rachel Christie as well as Jess before being dumped on day 21.
But it turns out Omar is doing pretty well for himself; in fact, he just announced he is soon to become a dad.
Sharing a photo on his Instagram grid of his pregnant partner holding her sonogram snaps, Omar added a caption announcing their news.
"It works! ๐๐ฆ
Baby Sultani due June โ24 ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ค
Mummy and daddy canโt wait to meet you and I personally canโt wait to make mummyโs life hell with you ๐๐ฅฐ
Lots of love; your dad x."
The comments section was brimming with congrats from Love Island alumni, including his fellow season one OG Luis Morrison who wrote, "Congrats brother โฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ", while Love Island 2016 contestant Rykand Jenkins added, "๐๐๐๐"
Omar is set to become a father in the summer of 2024 and will join countless other Islanders who have become parents since they left the Love Island villa.
