The ITV dating show has finally released the identities of their brand new Islanders - and while some were familiar faces from rumoured line ups, there’s also plenty of surprises announced.
One of the newbie islanders who’ll be calling the villa their home is Munveer Jabbal. One of this year’s eligible bachelors, Munveer will be starring on the show when it hits our screens (which is on Monday 3 June, FYI).

Munveer Jabaal is a Love Island 2024 contestant, appearing in this year's summer series. Opening up about why he’s single, Munveer said, “I haven’t found the right girl, I’m quite picky and I have high standards.”
How old is Munveer Jabbal?
The oldest contestant to be confirmed so far, Munveer is 30 years old.
When asked why now is the right time to be heading onto the world’s biggest dating show, the Islander said, “The opportunity to be surrounded by good looking people in a villa under the sun is an absolute no brainer! I’m 30 years old and I need to start thinking seriously about the next step, and what better place.”
Where is Munveer Jabbal from?
Although having lived in Fulham, London, Munveer is from the leafy suburb of Surbiton in Surrey.
And if you want to know why Munveer hasn’t found his Mrs Right yet, he's blaming it entirely on location. “London dating hasn’t worked out for me,” he explained, adding, “Dating in London is horrible. You don’t know who’s single… but now you’re putting me in a place where everyone’s single, so there’s no issues around that.”
We’re sure we’ll be hearing more about that subject around some fire pit heart-to-hearts.

Munveer works as a Recruitment Manager. According to his LinkedIn, he’s worked at Bain & Company since 2021, focusing on data analytics and information/cyber security. Sounds complicated.
How does Munveer Jabbal know Piers Morgan?
Munveer has revealed his links to the controversial TV host, but it’s not what you may think. The star is actually friends with Piers’ son Spencer Morgan, explaining that they grew close when he moved to Fulham in 2018.
