After Zayn Malik dramatically quite One Direction over cheating rumours, the girl at the centre of the drama refused to comment on the controversy caused by an ‘innocent’ fan pic.
Now, the ‘Thailand party girl’ has had her say in an open letter to Zayn’s fiancee, Perrie Edwards.
Published in Now, the letter read: “Absolutely nothing happened. I went near Zayn’s table to get a picture with him and I got it and nothing else happened.
“Zayn’s not my type and I don’t fancy him. He’s too young for me!”
She went on: “I haven’t had any contact with Zayn since and Perrie hasn’t contacted me either.
“There wasn’t anything to say to her or anyone as nothing happened.”
Meanwhile, things haven’t been plain sailing for party girl Lauren Richardson during her first few days on ITV’s Love Island.
After being ignored by partner Jordan Ring following a brutal ‘couple swap’, the 26-year-old decided to take things into her own hands.
It all started when Lauren turned down the offer of a date with Love Island newbies John and Tony.
When Zoe and Rachel elected themselves for the romantic dinner dates, Jordan turned to partner Lauren and said: “Lauren, high five for not going.”
The blonde community sports worker simply turned to her burly ‘other half’ and said: “I’m just going to throw it out there. I don’t think you make an effort with me at all. So you’re lucky I didn’t go, I just let the girls go.”
An emotional Jordan then sought refuge in the lounge where Lauren heard him out.
Through his tears, the muscle-bound singleton told his partner: “I’ve actually got a bit choked up. It was a genuine thank you, but I’m shaking a bit.”
Surprised by his emotional reaction to her outburst, Lauren comforted Jordan.
She told him: “I feel really bad, I don’t think I’ve ever made a guy cry. I just feel like the last two days we’ve been partnered as a couple but you haven’t made an effort. It would be quite interesting to see who you are. You’ll happily talk to Hannah or Jess, but you’re not making an effort with me, and we’re meant to be a couple.”
