Malin Andersson's given her first interview since little Consy's passing

Love Island 2015 star Malin Andersson has revealed that she has split from Tom Kemp five weeks after the tragic death of their baby daughter, Consy. After breaking up briefly whilst Malin was pregnant, the pair reunited just before she gave birth, but the 26-year-old has revealed that they have decided to part ways once again.

Talking to OK! magazine, Malin revealed that they'd tried to be there for each other in the wake of the devastating news of their daughter's death, but had decided it would be better to be apart as they'd been arguing non-stop.

10) The Moment You Left Me

"Things have been strained between us since Consy was born," she explained. "A situation like that will either make you or break you and we’ve been at each other’s throats.

"He deals with things completely differently to me, he bottles everything up and then eventually explodes, whereas I think it’s better to talk about everything. Our relationship wasn’t healthy so I’m taking myself out of it," she said.

Malin also opened up about the four weeks she got to spend with Consy, explaining that she'd held her daughter's hands and feet in the incubator, but she was unable to hold her.

She was able to get involved in nappy changes, and was expressing breast milk for her daughter to have, but she was too small for surgery, with Malin adding that all she could do was "hope for a miracle."

She added: "I carried a baby for seven months and then nothing. I felt empty, I have a scar where my baby has been taken out of me but there is no baby. I am a mum without a baby. I couldn’t stop thinking, 'Why me?'"

Malin is now setting up an app called Consy UK which will provide a service for people with mental health issues so that they're able to receive help instantly, adding: "I also hope to work with bereavement charities. I want to use my own suffering to help other people."
