From Love Island to TOWIE and I’m A Celeb to Celebrity Ex on the Beach, Joey Essex has appeared on A LOT of reality TV shows.
And although he’s currently causing chaos on Love Island 2024, Joey has reportedly already got his first post-villa TV role lined up.
Seriously, does anyone in showbiz work harder than Joey Essex’s agent?
It’s claimed that Joey will appear on the next series of Netflix’s hit real estate reality show Selling Sunset and no, before you get any ideas, Joey hasn’t suddenly decided to become an estate agent and join The Oppenheim Group.
Instead, Joey will be enlisting the help of Jason Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause and co to help him find a property in LA after his cousin Chloe Sims moved Stateside for her fly-on-the-wall show House of Sims.
A source close to Joey revealed, “His cousin Chloe Sims is now based in Los Angeles, and Joey was thinking about investing in a pad for himself, which is how the Selling Sunset gig came about.
“On the next series viewers will see Joey tour a megabucks property as part of his hunt for a base across the pond. It also means he’s added another huge reality show to his list — his first for Netflix — which opens up a whole new world of opportunity.”
“Joey might have a reputation as a bit of a dimwit but he’s not lacking in street smarts,” they added to The Sun.
“He has become a very rich man through property and savvy investments.”
Up until last year, Joey had been living in a swanky mansion in Chigwell, Essex. His luxury home featured not one, not two, but three dressing rooms and a massive garden kitted out with a huge pool.
The reality star moved to Dubai in May 2023 and even met up with the Dubai government on his arrival. Joey also spent a lot of time in LA with his cousins Chloe and Charlie Sims last year, which is presumably when he filmed his upcoming appearance on Selling Sunset.
