Contestants are known for spilling the tea after they’ve left the villa and Winter Love Island 2023 is turning out to be incredibly...wet
As there is only an hour of neatly-packaged entertainment broadcast each evening, there are plenty of unaired bits we completely miss out on.
Since the Islanders have left the show, we've discovered who the naughtiest contestants were including Tanyel Revan, who was revealed the series' biggest troublemaker and Maxwell Samuda, who spilled on his football-spoiling habits.
Now, Jessie Wynter has let slip that she actually broke a few of the producers’ rules during her time on Love Island.
We caught up with Jessie and fellow contestant (and now boyfriend) Will Young on a recent episode of Closer's Secrets, and asked if they ever got into trouble on the show. Jessie admitted that she did in fact get told off pretty often by producers in unaired scenes.
She started off on a positive note, “We were pretty good. I feel like I would tell them off [the boys] before the producers would tell them off.”
However, she revealed that she did actually get in trouble for one thing: talking way too much during the Islanders’ unfilmed lunches. “I talked about a lot of things. At lunchtime, you’re not allowed to talk about villa-related stuff.”
We love a chatterbox.
“I wanted to tell everyone everything,” she confessed, "the producers would be like ‘Jessie, you’re going to have to sit on your own if you keep talking here'.”
Will, however, was much more well-behaved and said that he couldn’t think of anything that he got told off for. “I’m a good boy. I didn’t get told off once,” he reassured us. They do say opposites attract, don’t they?
So, turns out Jessie is a fan of spilling the tea, just like us. We can’t blame her, really.
