Love Island 2018 contestant Ellie Brown loves a transformation nearly as much as we do. Last year she showed off her new teeth to her 1.3 million followers and a few months later unveiled icy blonde hair.
Fast forward to now and the podcaster has posted a TikTok that reveals herself with a MUCH darker hair colour and we'll admit, at first we were a little thrown because who even is Ellie Brown without her trademark golden locks?
Sure, she is a podcaster, reality TV star and style influencer, but without the blonde hair it just doesn't feel like 'Ellie." It's like Elle Woods without Bruiser Woods and the colour pink.
But not to panic, as Ellie hasn't actually ditched her fair hair just yet; the former Islander was, in fact, testing out the new hair colour changing filter that everybody is fixated with, and we needn't have worried as it turns out she won't be going dark anytime soon.
Adding the caption, "Is a no 😂😂😂 #blondevsbruenette #blondevsdarkhairchallenge" her recent TikTok features a selfie of Ellie that transforms her from her iconic shade of blonde to a muted brown, which she clearly isn't vibing with.
Ellie might not be a fan of the darker shade but plenty of her followers were; one commented "omg yes u look amazing brunette" with another declaring, "Wow 😍"
Her last transformation came in the form of a cool blonde colour and 90s inspired cut that she revealed at the start of the year.
Posting a cute selfie on her Instagram story, Ellie tagged her Manchester based hairdresser, James Lear, who has also tended to the tresses of Love Island alumni Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Kaz Crossley.
Ellie wrote, “Fresh colour is the best ❤️”.
The icy blonde colour does look stunning against Ellie’s blue eyes and, combined with the layered cut and the soft fringe, it is giving us Claudia Schiffer circa 1996.
Ellie continues to thrive in the world of style. The Islander received high praise when she turned up at an event in a 'boobie' dress that EVERYBODY is currently obsessed with. Maya Jama even wore one during her time presenting Love Island earlier this year.
During her time in the villa, Ellie spent some time chatting to Dr Alex George before coupling up with Charlie Brake, but once they were both booted out it wasn't long before they went on a brake.. .sorry, break, and finally called it a day.
