Is there anything Amber Davies can’t do? Although we know her best from winning Love Island 2017 with her then-boyfriend, Kem Cetinay, Amber quickly turned her reality stardom into bona fide West End stardom.

She has toured across the United Kingdom in multiple shows like 9 to 5: The Musical and Pretty Woman, flaunting her vocal chops all over the country.

As if that wasn’t enough, Amber will now be hitting the rink to compete in the latest series of Dancing on Ice. Will she manage to go from a triple threat into a quadruple threat? Or quintuple, if we count winning Love Island as a talent - which it is.

Amber is the fourth confirmed contestant to be named for the upcoming series of the show. So far, all we know is that she’ll be competing against boxer Ricky Hatton, soap star Claire Sweeney and former S Club 7 popstar Hannah Spearritt.

After revealing the news, Amber said, _“_I would definitely say that I'm an adrenaline junkie but I do get more nervous as I get older and I hope that I can contain them, I don't want the adrenaline to get the better of me.”

She added, "I can count on one hand how many times I've ice skated."

Since walking away from the Love Island Villa with her share of the £50k prize, Amber has made a name for herself in the musical theatre world. She has been touring the UK since 2019 in various shows including Bring It On: The Musical and Back to the Future: The Musical.

Amber's also wowed UK audiences by competing on BBC’s All Together Now, where she sang the infamously difficult Titanium by Sia. She even auditioned for The X Factor before entering the Love Island villa.

So, we know she can sing, dance, and act, now it’s time to find out if she can skate.

Dancing on Ice sees twelve contestants paired up with professional skaters. They'll take to the ice each week to show off their new skills (or lack of) in the hopes of impressing judges Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo. It is set to return to our screens in January 2024, which gives Amber about three months to learn to skate like a pro.
