How are you coping with the post-Christmas health kick, are you on one? Do you have any resolutions?
I am coping absolutely brilliantly, I have a lot of motivation thanks to the website. I did give myself some time off during Christmas but since the New Year I have thrown myself back into it with healthy food and using Celebrity Training with Sam Faiers.
If you think back to this time last year, what is it that’s changed the most?
I think what’s changed the most is my attitude towards being healthy and losing weight, Obviously before it was about being skinny and the perfect size 8. Now, it’s about having a healthy balance of a good diet, and having the right food that your body needs. I want to be strong as well and keep my curves.
What do you have to keep in mind with diet and exercise as someone who has Crohns?
Exercise is absolutely fine with my Crohns, it’s more about my diet so I have to avoid spicy food, tomatoes, cow’s milk and acidic foods as well as drinks like wine.
Have you always been interested in fitness or has this passion come from the added interest in your health?
When I was younger I was training in the Olympic Gymnastics under-16 team and I was in the county level for netball and swimming. I’ve always been active but when I got older I got distracted, 2014 was the kick up the a*se I needed to be healthy and fit.
What do you think when people on Twitter say you’re too slim?
It’s difficult because I work hard, train and have a balanced diet and people criticize. You can never win!
You had quite a public break up- are you looking for love now?
I’m not looking for it as such, if someone comes into my life and I’ll just go with the flow!
