Hangovers are the worst.

Have you ever gone on a night out, said you’d have one drink but you end up basically drinking the whole bar? And the next day you’re sick, you have a headache and would pretty much rather die? Well a new device that measures the amount of alcohol you have consumed can prevent us from having a hangover ever AGAIN.

The new wristband called BACtrack Skyn has been created to measure the amount of ethanol that escapes through your skin, when the amount reaches a certain limit it will tell you when you should stop drinking.

This is great!

Especially for those nights when we drink far too much and then the next day we have to crawl into work.

The president and CEO of BACtrack, Keith Nothacker, said: "We’re excited to bring BACtrack Skyn to market to aid researchers and treatment providers in collecting more reliable data and ultimately, make advances in healthcare treatment."

The gadget has won the National Institute of Health’s Wearable Alcohol Biosensor Challenge and there are even plans for it to be released later this year, so stay tuned.

So long hangovers!
