New beauty treatment injects blood… into your vagina!

As far as beauty treatments go, we thought we had seen and heard it all. Until now.

Vagina ‘Vampire therapy’ promises to ‘rejuvenate’ your downstairs and help improve your orgasms as well as boosting your libido.

It works by drawing blood and injecting platelets- the yellowish blood cells- back into your vagina tissue.

Not only can the procedure allegedly help increase sexual pleasure, but it also reportedly helps women who suffer from sexual dysfunction such as pain during intercourse.

The treatment- named Rejuvula- also promises to help improve symptoms of urinary incontinence.

Rejuvula can cost up to £800 (ouch!) and doctors recommend that women top up their treatment a year later.

A 52-year-old who underwent the procedure anonymously told The Mirror: 'It completely changed my world.

"I'm getting married in a couple of months and decided to have the treatment as a special treat for my husband to be.

"This is my second marriage, and I want my sex life with my new husband to be as exciting as if we'd met in our 20s.

"But the fact is I've had three kids since then, and things down there are not quite they used to be.'

She added: “I started to notice some changes in sensations on my way home but the next morning it was heightened and sex was amazing."
