With its rolling hills and surrounded by 72 acres of parkland, it’s hard to believe that Moddershall Oaks Country Spa Retreat is just seven miles from the centre of Stoke-On-Trent.

Its idyllic scenery, luxurious facilities and extensive range of treatments makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind this summer, with the property safely welcoming guests again in accordance with guidelines from August 1.

Facilities

When we visited Moddershall Oaks prior to lockdown we were welcomed on arrival by the friendly staff who were kind enough to show us around the countryside sanctuary.

Not only does the spa boast an impressive range of facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, heated loungers and reflexology footbaths, it's also home to a range of outdoor luxuries - perfect for those who want to make the most of the tranquil surroundings and truly switch off.

So, whether you want to relax in the outdoor heated vitality pool or take a leisurely stroll along the hotel’s woodland trail or get your heart racing in the MADE Wellness Centre – there are plenty of activities to choose from to make the most of your stay.

Accommodation and food

The Lakeside Restaurant is the perfect location to watch the sun go down while enjoying your evening meal after a day of pampering.

With an award-winning menu, the restaurant uses the freshest ingredients to create delicious dishes including lemon and parmesan coated chicken Milanese and seafood papperdelle, with a number of vegan options also available.

The luxury bedroom suites at Moddershall Oaks are equally impressive, boasting a five star rating and comfy king-sized beds, guaranteeing guests a good night's sleep. With four suite sizes available - including an accessible suite especially designed for those with limited mobility - there's something for everyone.

To help deliver a Covid secure environment, all rooms are treated with a disinfectant fogging machine in between stays.

Treatments

Treatments such as massages are also back on the menu from August 1, with facial treatments available from August 15 in line with current government advice.

We opted for the Elemis Freestyle Deep Tissue Massage, a truly luxurious treatment that targets stress, tension and toxins leaving you feeling soothed and relaxed. In addition to the specialist spa treatments, beauty treatments are available in the Blush Lounge.

Moddershall Oaks has a number of special edition spa packages available****, starting at £79 per person and you can find out more about how they are providing guests with a Covid secure environment here****.
