What is LeBootcamp?
The message is simple. There are 3 lines which are very important, eat well, lose weight now and keep it off forever and it sounds very straightforward and easy
I used to be overweight. I used to weigh 70 pounds more than today. I had tried everything- 42 different diets! Every time I tried a new one, high protein, low protein, I always lost weight, but I would lose 10 pounds and I would regain 15.
Do you cut anything out of your diet at all or do you do everything in moderation?
There is no food group banned at all. No deprivation. I have already done that and I know it is not sustainable in the long term. I don’t want a diet- I want a lifestyle that sticks with you, I don’t want to feel like I am on a diet.
You will have tons of energy, you will have an amazingly toned body, you will have very nice skin so it works on anybody.
Instead of saying there is one approach that rules the world we are looking at everything that really works and taking different pieces from different approaches.
That’s why in my programme you have 4 phases. Each phase empowers you as a person with a specific type of knowledge.
Detox
The first 2 weeks are the detox phase. A doctor will tell you your body will detox by itself, and he is right, but 2000 years ago when we had no stress. Now we have alcohol and lack of sleep and so many toxins created by our body so therefore we have to support it. This doesn’t mean you have to deprive yourself.
You learn about 10 detox foods and they are proven to extract toxins from your body. They re very affordable and easy to find. Watercress, beetroot, bananas, garlic, easy stuff. Very few people know what toxins are so people don’t know how to get rid of them.
Attack
The second phase is called attack. You are really active and you are the master of your body. You are now controlling the food you get in an easy way- everything is explained in easy terms.
How can you eat everything you like without depriving yourself while still losing weight? I am against losing weight too fat because it always comes back but you learn about the concept. This phase is where you are going to lose around 75% of the weight you need to lose. If you need to lose 5 pounds that is going to be really quick.
How does the diet help your mood? Does it make you more positive?
I mentioned the high protein diet earlier, which I hate. It ruined the lives of so many women. When you are in a high protein diet you lack Vitamin B and because of that lack you have mood swings. And that is something you don’t have with LeBootcamp because you aren’t banning food groups. You will have no deficiencies. Because we push eating fresh fruit and veg to more than 5 a day we have tons of vitamins and fibre in your body and vitamins will raise your mood level. We push a lot of fish as well which is full of strength and it is critical for mood levels.
When you do LeBootcamp you will get good results. On top of all this you are active and learning. So even if you exercise just a little bit every day that is enough.
How do you curb cravings?
Usually if you want something it’s because you are deprived off it. You will see on my menus I encourage chocolate every single day.so first of all you have to have it and then by the end you don’t want it. I would rather you have a bit of something you want every single day than lying to yourself. When I see these books about sugar free diets I agree with them- the message is great- but it isn’t sustainable and it affects my mood and knowing that my body is clean but depressed because I love chocolate and miss it.
Cravings always come because your body needs something. You need to address these cravings in a healthy way.
If you have health conditions can you still use it?
Definitely we have excellent results with diabetes. We have a 98% positive result from diabetes type 2. We followed a sample of 800 women. 90% cholesterol and simply because we are not promising the moon. If you fall off the wagon its no big deal don’t feel guilty because guilt means stress lets just go back. You can always restart.
