We love pyjamas; from cute flannel twin-sets, to sexy silky nightgowns, to oversized t-shirts and pants, we all have our own style when it comes to slipping between the sheets.

But, as it turns out, we should all be ditching our beloved PJs.

Why?

Well, because they’re apparently bad for your health.

According to The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, 92% of us attempt to catch up our beauty sleep wearing pyjamas.

But sleeping naked (well done, you confident people of the 8% category) helps us to regulate our temperatures AND Fall asleep quicker, leading to a much more refreshing kip.

Ditching the PJs could also help us… well, down there, as men and women who sleep naked are less likely to suffer from yeast and fungal infections in their nether regions.

The academy also found that those who sleep naked tend to have better relationships with their significant others.

Yup, they can help improve intimacy between you and your partner, help you both to feel more sexy and loving, AND give you a body confidence boost.

Win.

Even better still (if that’s possible!), sleeping in the nuddy means you won’t wake up all sweaty - so you don’t have to worry about cramming in a morning shower if you sleep through your alarm.

Anyone else planning on ditching their PJs tonight?
