For most women, going to the gym means making a bit of effort to get slightly sweaty and feel a generous rush of endorphins, but for a small number of gym bunnies their body rewards them for their daily cardio.

More and more women are coming clean about their experiences of the elusive ‘coregasm’ - aka orgasming from a work out.

The science behind it makes complete sense. During certain exercises, your pelvic floor muscles contract and relax at such a speed that your body decides to unleash some happy hormones in your downstairs area.

Don’t worry- you won’t be screaming in ecstasy in public. The ‘coregasm’ is slightly different from the orgasm you share in bed with your partner or during some ‘alone’ time.

It’s technically classed as an ‘expanded’ orgasm, which means it’s felt in the stomach, thighs and pelvic region. The great news is that these orgasms can go on for hours!

Aside from the obvious benefits to your health, boost your work out with one of these exercises or activities and see if your body responds in a similar way!
