Over the past few years ‘Cat Cafes’ have been popping up all over the world, and now things have been taken to the next level.

Yes, we give you ‘Cat Yoga’.

Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium in London decided to make ultimate use of its relaxing, laidback cat-friendly atmosphere and create a tranquil yoga class, suitable for all abilities.

Arriving, you are immediately greeted with one of the many rescue cats in the cafe. You are told the special house rules, which include not picking up the cats. Though this is upsetting for the cat-lovers of the world, can you imagine being dragged around for cuddles 100 times a day?

You are then taken downstairs where the class takes place. The mats are all laid out but you soon discover that some of the cats and kittens have already reserved their mats- stretched out and ready to energise their Chakras.

The yoga class goes by stages, with each stage focusing on a different part of your body. You are told to focus on your breathing as you try and tackle the more difficult moves- though this can be a challenge when one of the cafe’s furry inhabitants decided to try and make friends during a warrior pose!

Though this is definitely a novelty class, it is by no means a walk in the park. You will feel a bit sore afterwards but satisfied that you have worked hard. Plus you get to make friends with some very friendly kittens in the process!
