BUSY actress Kym Marsh, 38, swears by high intensity interval training (HIIT) to keep her size-eight figure trim and toned. An HIIT workout, which involves short bursts of intense exercise followed by periods of rest, gets maximum results in very little time.
“HIIT activates the ‘Afterburn Effect' – in a nutshell you will continue to burn fat long after you finish the workout!” explains celeb trainer Kevin Foster Wiltshire, who has trained Kym, as well as Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton and a host of other stars from Corrie, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
“This full-body HIIT workout I’ve devised for Closer takes less than 20 minutes and targets cardio, muscular strength and endurance. No equipment is required, so you can do it easily at home or on your travels.”
Kevin adds: “Give 100 per cent effort during the working times and then, during your rest, stand tall and focus on controlling your breathing before the next exercise. Ensure you do a proper warm up and cool down.
“If you do this workout two or three times a week, it will help you shed fat, become fitter and tone up – you’ll start to see results within weeks.”
Kevin is available to train you, every week, exclusively onwww.GymCube.com
