Ah, bacon.

Whether you have yours with cabbage, with sausages and eggs, or in a butty, there’s no denying that bacon is a favourite with Brits everywhere.

But all that fuss of frying or grilling it up can get more than a little tiresome - not to mention greasy.

So what if we told you there was a way to guarantee crispy AND healthy bacon, in half the time and with half the washing up?

We thought so.

Check it out:

It’s all so clear to us now.

Basically, you need to ditch the frying pan and grab a microwaveable bowl.

Turn it upside down, set it on a plate, and drape your bacon over the top of the bowl.

Microwave it for about, ooh, say a minute per slice?

This savvy method allows all of that unhealthy grease to run down and away from your bacon, leaving the rashers nice and crispy.

Want things to remain even easier? Cover your bacon with a paper towel, to keep your microwave clean as a whistle.

Anyone else suddenly ravenous…?
