Are you taking part in Veganuary or testing out meatless Mondays? Being vegan doesn't have to be hard work, thanks to some of the best vegan sandwich fillings. These will honestly change your life.

From the best vegan snacks, cakes, crisps and desserts to vegan wine, there are lots of tasty and easy alternatives to try.

Did you know that by the end of January, Veganuary expects to have reached the milestone of two million participants since its launch in 2014? What an achievement. To put it into perspective, there were only one million sign-ups in October 2020.

If you're one of the two million people taking part in Veganuary or are looking for ways to reduce your meat consumption, then swapping your regular lunch to a vegan sandwich filling is a good place to start.

How do you know if a sandwich filling is vegan?

Next time you're browsing in the supermarket, the best way to spot whether or not a sandwich filling is vegan or not is by scanning the product's packaging. No, really...

If it's vegan, it will feature the certified vegan logo, say that it's vegan or list that it contains no animal ingredients.

Before popping any item into your shopping basket, double-check the list of ingredients to ensure something hasn't been missed - especially if you're buying products because of any dietary requirements.

Are you thinking about making some lifestyle changes? Veganuary is an opportunity to swap meaty favourites like bacon, burgers and chicken for a vegan lifestyle during January.

Veganuary was first launched back in 2014 and is an annual challenge run by a UK non-profit organisation that promotes and educates about veganism. How cool is that?

Which celebrities are vegan?

From A-list celebs to former Love Island contestants, you'll be shocked to find out how many stars have taken up a vegan lifestyle. Some famous vegans include India Reynolds, Ricky Gervais, Lucy Watson, Travis Barker and more.
