Pre-heat the oven to 180C. Peel and dice the sweet potatoes, then steam or boil until soft.
Put the potatoes and the dates in a blender or food processor and whiz until smooth.
Add this and the remaining ingredients in a bowel and stir well.
Line a baking dish and fill with the mixture. Bake for about 20 minutes. You'll know if it's done when you pierce with a knife and the knife comes out dry.
Stand for 10 minutes and then enjoy!
